What this tool stores

Right Online Ruler is designed to work in your browser. Calibration preferences, selected language, selected theme, and saved measurements may be stored in your browser's local storage so the tool can remember your settings. This information is not submitted to our server by the ruler interface.

What we do not access

The ruler does not require camera access, microphone access, account creation, or contact information for normal use. Do not enter personal, confidential, or sensitive information into measurement labels or browser storage.

Hosting and technical data

Like most websites, the hosting provider or browser may process technical information such as IP address, request time, device type, and error logs for security and service operation. Any such processing is controlled by the applicable hosting and analytics providers' policies.

Your choices
